Winona-Ryder
Winona Ryder (born Winona Laura Hornowitz) was born in Winona Minnesota. Her parents named her after the town she grew up in. Both her father Michel Horowitz, and mother Cynthia Palmer are authors and editors. Ryder's father is from a Jewish family Ryder thinks she's Jewish. Her half-siblings are younger, Jubal and Sunyata. Ryder moved with her family to Mendocino County California at the age of seven. There was no electricity. Ryder who was an avid reader when she was 12, became a bookworm because Ryder was not able to access television. Ryder began taking acting classes when Ryder was 12, at the American Conservatory Theatre. Lucas was dismissed in the year 1986 and Ryder, then only 15, landed an acting job as a lead actress. Ryder was bullied in her high school. Ryder believed that her future as an actress would bring about change. However, it didn't come happen. Still, she pursued her goal. Her breakthrough came with Tim Burton's Beetlejuice in the year 1988. Ryder played successful roles for several films. There were two Academy Awards were nominated, one for The Age of Innocence (1996).
