Nancy Wilson is a Grammy Award winning jazz singer. Nancy Wilson was born on the 20th of February, 1937 in Chillicothe Ohio, to Olden Wilson who worked in an ironworks, and Lillian Ryan, a former domestic worker. Nancy was the oldest of six children. Her father's love of music and the records he played at home were a huge influence on Nancy at the age of a girl. At the age of four, Nancy knew that she wanted to be a musician. She discovered her talent for music through singing in choirs at church. The show was on television at the age of 15 and started performing regularly on the tv program Skyline Melodies while still in high school. Around the same time, she began to work in nightclubs. Nancy dropped out of Central State University in Ohio after being matriculating for a full year. In 1956 she made her debut album in Rusty Bryant's Carolyn Club Big Band. The group toured with Rusty Bryant throughout 1956 until 1958. Nancy began recording for Dot Records in 1956, as part of the group. Cannonball Aderley suggested that she relocate into New York so as to improve her career. In 1959, Nancy moved to The Big Town. In just a few months, she was offered a gig singing in The Blue Morocco Night Club on Boston Road in The Bronx where Adderley's agent heard her and signed her. Her debut on the recording stage came in the year 1960, with the single "Girls" after she signed a deal with Capitol Records. Guess Who I Stopped Today. Capitol released 5 Nancy Wilson Albums in 2 years. In the era of Adderley Wilson's direction, she began to focus on R&B however she soon switched to jazz and torch music. Nancy Wilson and Cannonball Adderley's collaboration in 1962 was instrumental to bring her to the forefront and her hit Tell Me the Truth was recorded in 1963. Following that year, this led to her getting booked in the New York's Coconut Grove - the top nightclub in America.

Her degree is in Archaeology & Anthropology. Maisie began her acting career in 2012 when she appeared in the film Our First World. Ellie, a young girl played by Maisie in a short film from 2012 Americano and Rum. In 2015, Korr Sella was featured as a cameo in Short Wars The Force Awakens.
