Emeraude Toubia

Emeraude Toubia is a Canadian actress who is best well-known for her roles in the Freeform Fantasy series Shadowhunters, and Venevision television series Cosita linda as well as Voltea pa' te enamores. Also, she is a skilled model and dancer. Montreal born, she spent the first few years of her life in Texas. In her early years, she began training in different forms of dancing. In her teens, she competed in beauty competitions. In 1999, she made her first on-screen appearance in Televisa's children's program El Mundo de los Ninos. Toubia became famous after she won a spot on Nuestra Belleza Latina in 2008. She made her acting debut in 2010, portraying receptionist in the Telemundo television show Aurora. In 2015, she appeared in the action-drama Tattooed Love, her debut film.
